Personalized guided meditation, made for the moment you're in
Most guided meditations are made for an average listener. ZenGPT personalizes each session around one person at one moment: what you said in the check-in, the time of day, your name, and how your last session went.
An example check-in
ZenGPT: How are you feeling right now?
You: Can't settle. Had an argument with my sister this morning and I keep replaying it.
ZenGPT: That kind of thing can follow you around all day. Would it help more to calm down a little, or to go easier on yourself about it?
What ZenGPT personalizes around
- What you say. The check-in is in your own words, so the session starts from your actual situation, not the nearest category.
- The moment. ZenGPT knows the time of day, so a session at midnight doesn't sound like one at breakfast.
- Your name. The session greets you, not a generic listener.
- How it went last time. If you said how your last session landed, that shapes how the next one speaks to you.
- What you need right now. Calming down, winding down, or getting ready to focus: the check-in works out which, so you don't have to.
What you get
A guided meditation made for that moment. ZenGPT chooses the practice from your check-in, not from a menu you scroll. The session acknowledges what's going on in plain words, guides you through the practice in one calm voice, and sends you back into your day, or on toward sleep.
Each session also gets a short title of its own, so your history reads like what actually happened rather than a list of track names.
Why personalization matters in meditation
A generic session asks you to do the translating. You arrive anxious about one specific thing, and the recording talks about stress in general. Often that's fine. Sometimes it's the reason you stop listening.
Hearing your situation acknowledged, briefly and plainly, does a lot of quiet work. It tells you this session is for this moment, and it makes it easier to stop arguing with how you feel and settle in. Then the practice can do its job.
The same goes for good days. A session for a calm Sunday morning shouldn't sound like one for a hard Monday night.
Personal, never improvised
Personalized doesn't mean a model talking at you for ten minutes, making it up as it goes. ZenGPT's guidance is written by people working with AI, and the pacing and the pauses are checked before anyone hears them. Good guidance is a craft, and it doesn't improve by being improvised.
So the personal and the steady work together: a session that knows what kind of day you're having, and guidance you can trust to keep its pace.
How a session comes together
You check in, in your own words or by tapping one of the suggested replies. ZenGPT reflects back what it heard, asks a question if it needs to, and then offers a session as a card in the chat. The card shows the practice and how long it lasts.
When you start, ZenGPT takes a few moments to prepare your session. Then it plays straight through, and keeps playing with your screen locked. Afterwards you can say how it landed, and the session is saved to your history.
One meditation a day
Each day, ZenGPT makes one meditation for the moment you check in. You can replay it as often as you like. The next day's check-in starts fresh, from wherever you are by then.
Personalization uses what you share, so ZenGPT asks your permission before anything is sent to the AI services that personalize your session, and tells you who they are. You can change your mind at any time in Settings. The Privacy Policy has the details, and the FAQ covers the rest.
